Fiction/Documentary, 12 minutes
(International title: Some Things Are Hard to Say)
In this lighthearted minimalist melodrama a man with a mental condition acts as himself in a dramatized version of his life. By way of an uncomplicated plot brought in a straightforward aesthetic the film highlights the mundane aspects of his existence. Instead of exoticizing, it focusses on points of identification like his sense of humor, his forgetfulness, or his sorrow for a lost friend. The second part in a trilogy about ‘the odd man out’.
